About
This work explored the fallible nature of our memories. Our memories are not like rewinding a tape, they do not playback the same every time. To show this, I wanted to explore a common example of our imperfect memories, an elementary school. If you have ever been in one as an adult everything seems too small and not like you remembered. With this work I took an example of playground equipment and made it three feet tall. I learned a lot while constructing this. I learned how to weld, which played into the juvenile aspect. I learned how to create a quick rust spray and a paint stripping technique using toothpaste.
